"The hush puppies are the absolute best I ever had!! The flounder was fresh, perfectly cooked and not over seasoned. Delicious Cole slaw and yummy fried zucchini. My son had the cat fish, also perfectly cooked, fresh and seasoned just right to not to take away from the fish. The server was super sweet, fast and professional. Even though it was busy, she still made time for a bit friendly conversation. This Texas girl has found her new favorite restaurant when visiting her son here!"

"They have one of my seafood favorites, fried WHOLE clams! The fried oysters and scallops were amazing, as well. I was a bit full and wasn't going to get dessert. However, our server informed us that they had chocolate/coconut pie that night. The pie was amazing! Our server was the best. She covered everything we needed and checked in frequently. The pie recommendation was a great tip."

"Food was delicious! Charming location as well. Highly recommend the grilled/ broiled items! We had the grilled mahi and broiled scallops, flounder and shrimp (fried), grilled fantail and one had chicken tendies The food was fantastic. I would actually skip the key lime pie though- unless you like neon green pudding type meringue pie. If you do- you'll love it. "

"I had the Best She Crab Soup I have had anywhere by Far. Coconut Shrip was the Bomb and the flounder was spectacular. We will be back the next couple days. Best seafood we have had in a long time."

"The service is phenomenal. Extremely friendly. The food is delicious and hot. The fries are very good. A nice touch is the free hush puppies. My fried chicken was very good and crispy. The crab dip was very good. This restaurant has a nice view of the river. It has simple decor."

"My wife and I were visiting from out of town for work. We got a strong recommendation to try this place from the folks who are hosting us. We popped over on a very rainy evening and found a solid mixture of locals and out of town folk. The menu you get is about half the story, the real fun is the white board. Be sure the read it before you take a seat as there is a lot on there that is not on the menu. The place is clean, but raw. It's not fancy or dressed up. The staff are all busting their butts and the kitchen never stopped. Our waitress was very nice, took great care of us, and kept up with everything else she was doing. The food is super fresh and was well cooked. The scallops had a good texture to them and weren't chewy and the shrimp weren't smothered in Old Bay. There were a good amount of options available and not everything has to be fried which is always nice to see. Small note here, the following did not affect my star rating: as someone who grew up in the last outcropping of civilization and surrounded by rural Virginia, I'm no stranger to being stared at or folks giving me weird looks as an LGBTQ+ person, but dang did this restaurant have plenty of looky-loos who act like they have never seen two women hold hands. Just a heads up for others, that it may happen to you. No one said anything, did anything, or otherwise made us feel unwelcome, and the staff were kind and they can not control how others stare. Just a thing I noticed."

"Another 5 Star visit. Great size portions. Perftly cooked and seasoned. Great view of the sound while eating. Nice atmosphere. Service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I have been coming here for about 55 years."
